New Task: ”Explore the Tesla Coil Lab”
Start by going to the Faraday Cage. Get in it, nothing happens. If you click on the little square button inside the cage next to the door, Nancy says, “I need to get that lighting rod working”. Exit the door and next look at the Tesla Coil. There are 2 places you can click. The top part that pulls out – here Nancy says that it is time to replace the capacitors.
New Task: “Replace the capacitors in the Tesla Coil”
Puzzle #7: Look at the book in Nancy’s inventory. You read that it will only charge when there is no other cap of a similar color rating in the same row or column. This is kinda similar to Sudoku.
Solution: Start with Putting the Longest one on the board, then take the 2 that are the 2nd longest and the 2 that only have one and match each of them with the appropriate color – remember, they cannot have the same color in the same row. Notice that when you put them side by side they are all the same color pattern. So here you have to put the single of one on the bottom and the single of the other on the top. Now let’s take the two that have 5 sections and the two that have 2 sections. Again, place them in a way that the colors do not double up vertically or horizontally. Finally take the last 2 sections that have 4 sections and 3 sections. See picture solutions below:
Master Puzzle #7:
Check off: “Replace the capacitors in the Tesla Coil”
Next Click on the bottom part of the Tesla Coil. Here it has an emergency shut off button. Nancy states: “That must be where the switch goes.Just above the switch a little drawer pulls out. It looks like a cube is missing.
New Task: “Repair the Tesla Coil”
Back up and look to the left of the Tesla Coil, on the floor. No interaction here.
Award: Charm location: Lightening Phone Charm.
Back up twice and continue up the stairs to the door above. The door is locked but it looks like another puzzle to solve.
New Task: “Unlock the Control Booth Door”
Puzzle #8: Solution: Zoom into the door lock and you will notice a set of 5 red shapes. Look in your inventory and see the sheet of paper you got from Ellie’s office. Notice that it says:
Red is not first or last
Green is pressed immediately after the diamond
Yellow Shape is pressed last
Blue is a star
Purple isn’t pressed first
Square isn’t red
The purple shape, the diamond, and the circle are pressed in order
Triangle is pressed second
Circle is pressed before the Yellow Shape
1. Blue Star
2.Purple Triangle
3.Red Diamond
4. Green Circle
5. Yellow Square
Once you get the colors set up correctly, then simply press each shape as noted above.
Master:Puzzle #8: Solution - Zoom into the door lock and you will notice a set of 5 red shapes. Look in your inventory and see the sheet of paper you got from Ellie’s office. Notice that it says:
The yellow shape is pressed after the purple one
The star is pressed sometime before the circle
The blue shape is pressed immediately before the green one, and sometime after the red one.
The yellow shape is not the star or the second one pressed.
The square is pressed sometime before the triangle, which is pressed sometime before the circle.
The purple shape is pressed before the star, which is pressed before the triangle
The circle is neither red nor the last shape pressed
The diamond is pressed immediately after the blue shape, which is pressed sometime after the star

If you mess with it, Gray will catch you and give you a strong lecture, and after he kicks you out of the security office you get a nasty call from Victor to stay out of the lab.
